sketches and problem solving

I am working on a hand piece that spreads your fingers apart in unbearable ways. It makes the wearer uncomfortable as well as restricts their movement. This is my first sketch. I have the pieces all made. I am working on soldering them together.

I HAVE RETURNED!

I have spent all day doing research and sketching. Good news, I contacted Space 224. My show will be there either the first week of April or the first week of May. I am trying my hardest to be a part of the First Friday exhibits. I figure that way my show will have a little more traffic going through it.

Anyways, I closed out the Fall semester working on a series of vessels. Of course, I want to make more. I have come up with two other ideas for vessels to fit within that series. Also, I came across this amazing Blog! AHHHH! it is visual heaven for me.

This site has made me want to make more vessels. Vessel crazy right now.

Hopefully I can upload some sketches soon. I have become obsessed with created extensions of the body that limit movement or just make you uncomfortable in a sense. However this still all focuses greatly on body oddities of course.
